Sample Winter 2021 Plan

Below you will find a sample winter 2020/2021 plan. Each week will focus on spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical health.

New Years Goals

  • Create a goal in one, some, or all of the categories discussed above. Where are areas you want to improve on or want to focus on in the year 2021?

Week 1: Spirituality

  • Have a set of Bible readings you want done in a week. 

  • Put together a blog post where you have a daily meditation on the day's Bible reading. Students can respond with their own reflections. 

  • Have a zoom call at the end of the week for a chance to get together and talk about the readings for the week. 

  • Continue Bible and Jesus Calling reflections. 

  • Put time aside everyday to practice mindfulness.

Week 2: Emotional Health 

  • Have an emotion to focus on each day. Journal/self-reflect on these emotions. 

  • Have a zoom call at the end of the week for a chance to get together and talk about emotional health and activities done during the week.

Week 3: Mental Health 

  • Do a "Today I'm Thankful For..." journal. 

  • Focus on mental wellbeing during this CoVid/long winter break time.

  • Have a zoom call at the end of the week for a chance to get together and talk about mental health and activities done during the week. 

​

Week 4: Physical Health 

  • Do a form of physical activity every day. 

  • Get a group of friends together to do an activity challenge or to form a fitness group. This is a great way to be motivated and held accountable while having fun!
